Two of the more prominent media aggregators/ad networks, FastClick and ValueClick, have announced plans to combine efforts. ValueClick will buy FastClick in an all stock deal.

These two networks have really large reach that competes with the likes of MSN, Yahoo and Google. If you are a large network consumer advertiser you likely should be working with these guys.

FastClick has a nice online self-service style ad-sales tool. You choose your demographics, psychographics, and even dayparts etc. Upload your creative and begin a new campaign. Only interaction required is the faxing of your printable IO. Unfortunately, in my experience this is where the process breaks down, you'll wait days for a response.
